Fire crews were called out around 2:30pm Tuesday afternoon, to 325 South Mill Street in St. Clair, for a working structure fire.
Upon arrival, firemen found heavy fire coming from the second floor of the home.
Authorities said the fire was contained to the second floor, but the rest of the home was damaged by smoke and water.
Initial reports say the fire was accidental but a cause is still being investigated.
