by News Department on 07/09/15A fundraising project to construct a new community swimming pool in Frackville has begun.
The Frackville Pool Committee, chaired by Karen Domalakes, held its third monthly meeting Tuesday at borough hall to discuss a feasibility study authorized by the borough council at its May meeting.
Domalakes will meet with Entech Engineering project manager Donald Cuff and Brent Boyer of Boyer Swimming Pools Inc., of Millersburg, to discuss what options the borough has in replacing its current swimming pool.
Entech was retained to conduct the study.
The community pool was not opened this year due to much needed repairs.
